Celebrating at hat trick unfortunately requires you to lose a hat. That’’s asking a lot from fans. So American Express teamed up with the Seattle Kraken to launch the Amex Re-Cap.

Unfortunately in the first year of the program, things got whacky in Seattle, with hat trick goals getting called back. Fans we’re not happy, so we pivoted, and Re-Capped them anyway.
